VLC 2.0.0 Twoflower disponibile
Dopo 486 milioni di download per VLC 1.1.x ecco che i team di VideoLAN e VLC annunciano il tanto atteso rilascio di VLC 2.0.0 “Twoflower”, la nuova major release del player multipiattaforma più amato di tutti i temi.
Twoflower si fregia un nuovo sistema di rendering per i video, sottotitoli in alta qualità e nuovo filtri per migliorare la riproduzione dei video. VLC 2.0.0 è anche in grado di riprodurre i dischi BluRay (funzione per ora sperimentale).
Questa versione va inoltre a fixare centinaia di bugs rendendo il player sempre più stabile.

- Rewritten video output core and modules, allowing subpicture blending in GPU.
- Shader support in the OpenGL output, for colorspace conversion, including 10bits.
