Il team di Linux Mint ha appena annunciato il rilascio di Linux Mint Debian 201204 ovvero la nuova ISO di Linux Mint Debian Edition con l’Update Pack 4
Linux Mint Debian 201204 è disponibile con ben tre DE:
LMDE 201204 con MATE 1.2 (di default)
LMDE 201204 con Cinnamon 1.4 (installato di default e disponibile selezionandolo dalla schermata di login)
LMDE 201204 Xfce 4.8

Ricordo a tutti che Linux Mint Debian Edition (LMDE) è una distro semi-rolling basata su Debian Testing. La distro è disponibile sia per i sistemi a 32-bit che quelli a 64-bit tramite un live DVD con MATE/Cinnamon o Xfce.
Lo scopo di LMDE è quella di realizzare la stessa esperienza utente della main edition basata su Ubuntu con in più il notevole vantaggio di esser basata su Debian.
