Ubuntu 13.04 non rollerà
Dopo la proposta di stravolgimento dei piani di rilascio di Ubuntu per tramutarlo in una rolling già a partire dalla 13.04 arriva un dietrofront.
Stando a quanto dichiarato da Jonathan “io sono Kubuntu” Riddell a seguito di una sessione di USD tenutasi ieri si è deciso di rilasciare Ubuntu 13.04 (e famiglia) come da roadmap anche e sopratutto per non vanificare gli sforzi degli sviluppatori che in questi mesi si sono dedicati allo sviluppo della nuova versione.

Of all the nutty things Canonical has done in the last week wanting to
drop 13.04 four months into development and two months before release is
one of the more anti-social to the community who have been working on
it. Fortunately at the “UDS” session today I poked enough and we seem
to have consensus that it’ll go ahead on the schedule we agreed at UDS
last October. Feature freeze on Thursday my friends, two days to go.
